In class: Reviewed graphing quadratic equations in x and y, simplifying radicals and solving quadratic equations.
Assignment: Study the Review worksheet 9-3 to prepare for Monday’s quiz.
Pre-Algebra
In Class: We took notes over the perimeter and area of trapezoids and worked on the assignment in class.
Assignment: Worksheet 9.6 Be sure to show all work, including area formulas, substitution and answers that are labeled correctly.
English
Bell Work: Students reviewed drama terms.
In Class: Students looked at state writing assessment—local scores. We read Act 1, scene 3 in Anne Frank.
Assignment: Quiz on drama terms Monday. Read AR books for 4th term points; book points are due in May.
The HISTORY Experience
In Class: Philosophy Friday: Students discussed Transcendentalism and analyzed various situations/decisions/topics “logically” and “emotionally.”
Assignment: Nada
Science:
In class: We worked with the Sedimentary Family today. Reading was done out of the book, examples were identified, and uses listed. We will start the third family on Monday.
Assignment: Get your information caught up on your notes.
