In class: Reviewed the exponential decay formula.
Assignment: Page 494 exercises 2-40 even, 41-46.
Pre-Algebra
In Class: Reviewed converting between units of measure, rates, and square units.
Assignment: Organized Worksheets I-V. Plan to make corrections in the packet and be prepared to hand it in on Tuesday before the assessment.
English
Bell Work: Students filled out planners and wrote a journal about the Holocaust/Anne Frank.
In Class: Students were introduced to the Holocaust with background information. We are watching “We Must Never Forget” and taking notes.
Assignment: Poetry booklets are due on March 2nd. Read AR books for 3rd term points; book points are due on March 3rd.
The HISTORY Experience
In Class: Students read about the Alamo and completed a “history frame” activity about the battle. Students should be able to explain how Texas became an independent country and how the US annexed them as a new state.
Assignment: N/A
Science:
In class: Reading and a mineral worksheet were done out of the book today. We discussed mineral properties and how to tell them apart. We will start the mineral lab on Tuesday.
Assignment: Get caught up on the reading and fill out your worksheet.
Journal: Fill out your planner for the week.
