In class: Filled out the planner for the week, handed in assignments, took the Chapter 3 quiz.
Assignment: We will be finishing the quiz on Tuesday.
Pre-Algebra
In Class: Organized assignments to be handed in on Wednesday. Reviewed perimeter and area of polygons.
Assignment: Perimeter/Area Review worksheet. Be sure to show all work, including area formulas, substitution and answers that are labeled correctly.
English
Bell Work: Students filled out planners today.
In Class: Students took a drama quiz using clickers and wrote out sentences. We read Act 1, scene 3 in Anne Frank.
Assignment: Make-up Act 1 reading if you have been absent. Read AR books for 4th term points; book points are due in May.
The HISTORY Experience
In Class: Students should be able to list the reforms of the prison and educational systems. Students read section 18.4 (p. 245 – 246) from the textbook. Students answered guided reading questions from the reading,
Assignment: Complete guided reading questions if incomplete.
Science:
In class: We worked with the third family of rocks. Reading was started and will be finished tomorrow. We worked with the lab materials for tomorrow also.
Assignment: Fill out your planner for the week. Hand in your journal.
Journal: #40 and hand it in to be graded.
