In class: Returned and recorded the Assessment Review worksheet and assessment 12.2.1. Introduced simplifying radicals.
Assignment: Complete the worksheet which was handed out in class.
Pre-Algebra
In Class: Took notes over polygons, reviewed perimeter as the distance around an object.
Assignment: Complete BOTH sides of the worksheet handed out in class today.
English
Bell Work: Students discussed late homework policy for 4th quarter.
In Class: Students handed in homework. Students read “Franks go into Hiding” and answered questions over reading.
Assignment: Finish reading “Franks Go into Hiding” for Friday. Read AR books for 4th term points; book points are due in May.
The HISTORY Experience
In Class: Students selected to read about the Mountain Men or Missionaries (16.4 & 16.5). Students completed the corresponding notes packet. Students reviewed study guide for test tomorrow.
Assignment: Study Guide for Ch. 15 & 16 TEST (Due Friday) TEST FRIDAY!!!!
Science:
In class: Notes were highlighted on crystal processes and how they grow. We reviewed mineral properties and uses for the quiz which is tomorrow. We looked at crystal samples.
Assignment: Look over your notes on minerals and highlight the attached notes. Study for your quiz.
