In class: Returned an recorded the assignment packet grade, introduced solving quadratic equations using the quadratic formula.
Assignment: Complete worksheet page D-53, show your work on a separate sheet of paper.
Pre-Algebra
In Class: Finished organizing assignments to be handed in on Wednesday. Reviewed perimeter and area of polygons using dry eraser boards.
Assignment: Make corrections on the book assignments and worksheet. Be sure you have shown all your work, including area formulas, substitution and answers that are labeled correctly.
English
Bell Work: None.
In Class: Students read Act 1, scene 3-4 in Anne Frank.
Assignment: Anne Frank questions for scene 3 for Wednesday. Act 1 quiz Wednesday. Make-up Act 1 reading if you have been absent. Read AR books for 4th term points; book points are due in May.
The HISTORY Experience
In Class: Students should be able to define abolitionism and list 3 major abolitionists during the era of reform.
Assignment: Chapter 15 – 18 Vocabulary Analogies WS due Tomorrow!!!
Science:
In class: We worked with the Metamorphic family today. A clay lab simulation was done and questions answered on a lab sheet. Come in and do the lab.
Assignment: Lab to do. Grade sheet to fill in.
Journal: See attached sheet.
