In class: Used the dry eraser boards to review for the KHS assessment which will be given on Wednesday.
Assignment: Make corrections on the Assessment Review worksheet.
Pre-Algebra
In Class: Practice finding the congruent angles formed by parallel lines cut by a transversal, and complementary angles, and supplementary angles, vertical angles.
Assignment: Make corrections on the three worksheets that were organized and will be handed before the Quiz on Wednesday.
English
Bell Work: Students worked in journals today to review for quiz.
In Class: Students took a Holocaust background quiz today. They need to finish reading “Franks Suffer” and answer discussion questions. Read “Nazi Terror.”
Assignment: “Franks” discussion questions due Wednesday and read “Nazi.” Read AR books for 4th term points; book points are due in May.
The HISTORY Experience
In Class: Students played the Oregon Trail and listed rivers, forts and hardships experienced during the trail.
Assignment: *If not completed: Choose one picture from p. 215, write a ½ page journal entry (from the perspective of Lewis or Clark) describing the event in the picture. Make sure to use complete sentences and use the words in quotation marks in the selected picture’s caption. *Due Tuesday
Science:
In class: Constellation of the Month was finished. We finished the mineral uses today and did three pages of reading on the formation of crystals. Review your mineral notes for the quiz that will be on Thursday of this week.
Assignment: Get
Journal: Fill out your planner for the week. #37 was done today.
