ALGEBRA
In class: Went over exercises 1-7 on page 600. Covered Examples 1-4 on page 598.

Pre-Algebra
In Class: Handed in assignment page 355 (1-9,16). Page 356 (10-15,17-18,20) Worksheet 9-4b,9-5 surface area worksheet, Took Surface Area Assessment

English
Bell Work: Students check over rough drafts.
In Class: Students worked on writing revising and editing paragraphs for their five-paragraph essays. Students should have all four signatures on rubric. Typing requirements were given again. We finished watching the Anne Frank DVD.
Assignment: 5-paragraph essays due April 26. Read AR books for 4th term points; book points are due in May.
The HISTORY Experience
In Class: Students analyzed quotes about slavery, presented finished quilts or worked on quilt projects.
Assignment: If needed, finish Quilt Project (may impact “use of class time” on rubric)
Science:
In class: Finished parts of the earth picture with facts for each layer. Video with Bill Nye on the three theories of how the earth moves.
Assignment: Come in, watch the video, finish your facts on your parts picture.
Journal: No entry
