ALGEBRA
In class: Reviewed chapter 9, organized assignments for the test on Monday.
Assignment: Fix your mistakes on Page 562-563 (1-13, 18-20, 24-26), complete the review worksheet, and study for the test.
Pre-Algebra
In Class: Went over yesterday’s assignment together and introduced the surface area of a cylinder. Wrote the formulas for surface area on the yellow sheet and started the assignment in class
Assignment: Page 451-452 exercises 1, 11, 14-15. Be sure to give a formula, substitution, and the answer labeled in square units.
English
Bell Work: None.
In Class: Students read “Secret Annexe Residents Live and Die” and did a jigsaw activity in groups. They will present their information on Wednesday.
Assignment: NE-SAR test on Monday and Tuesday. We handed in review packet today. Read AR books for 4th term points; book points are due in May.
The HISTORY Experience
In Class: Students should be able to compare and contrast the economies of the North and South and list effects of the Industrial Revolution. Students completed comparison/contrast notes sheet of economy and society.
Assignment: Nada
Science:
In class: We read in the book page 190-192. We defined soil and talked about types of soil. The types of soil were discussed and we wrote down some definitions on the Nebraska map.
Assignment: Color in your map of Nebraska Soils. Answer the questions on the back.
Journal: See attached sheet.
