In class: Went over the review in class. Students finished organizing assignments.
Assignment: Complete the take home test for chapter 9 and return it on Tuesday with the packet corrections.
Pre-Algebra
In Class: Went over yesterday’s assignment together and reviewed the surface area of a of 3-D. Reviewed the formulas for surface area on the yellow sheet and started the assignment in class
Assignment: Complete practice Worksheet 9-4A
English
Bell Work: None.
In Class: Students took the NE-SAR test today.
Assignment: NE-SAR test on Monday and Tuesday. Read AR books for 4th term points; book points are due in May.
The HISTORY Experience
In Class: Students should be able to compare and contrast the preferred types of transportation of the North and South. Students worked on/completed the Ch. 19 Geography Challenge (ws that uses p. 262-263 of textbook) and were given a study guide for the test on Wed.
Assignment: Complete Geo Challenge (Due Tue.), Ch. 19 Study Guide (Due Wed.) Chapter 19 Test (Wed.)
Science:
In class: Nebraska soils maps were gone over. Questions were answered and the map was handed in. Notes were taken on the sediments that make up soil. Get the notes. Get your questions ready for the speaker on Wednesday.
Assignment: Think about soil conservation, soil erosion, and soil formation questions you could ask our speaker.
Journal: #43. Come in and use the pictures to get this entry done.
