Mrs. West’s math classes will report to Room 119 for the NeSA-Math assessment on Monday and Tuesday ( April 19-20).
ALGEBRA
In class: Students took the NeSA –Math assessment Monday and Tuesday.
Assignment: Page 593, 15-42 due Wednesday.
Pre-Algebra
In Class: Students took the NeSA –Math assessment Monday and Tuesday.
Assignment: Have the Practice worksheet 9-5 completed for Wednesday.
English
Bell Work: Students filled out planners today.
In Class: Students were given packets for 5-paragraph Anne Frank essay. We worked on pre-writing and introductions today.
Assignment: 5-paragraph essays due April 26. Read AR books for 4th term points; book points are due in May.
The HISTORY Experience
In Class: Students should be able to: Describe the typical work-day for field slaves. Describe the living conditions (home, food, clothing) of slaves. (Covered sections 20.3 -20.5 in the textbook)
Assignment: Students were given rubric for the Slave Quilt project. Read over the rubric… bring any questions to class.
Science:
In class: We reviewed for the assessment on weathering, erosion, and soils that will be given on Tuesday. Work on your practice assessment and study the parts you are not familiar with.
Assignment: Review sheet and practice assessment will be picked up for points.
Journal: Fill out your planner for the week. #45 to do. See attached sheet.
YOU HAVE TWO DAYS FOR EACH DAY YOU ARE ABSENT TO TURN IN YOUR MAKE-UP WORK.
