ALGEBRA
In class: Practiced factoring quadratic equations.
Assignment: Page 607 exercises 13-47 odd, 54-55, 59-60, 65-67.
Pre-Algebra
In Class: Introduced the volume of prisms and cylinders
Assignment: Worksheet pages 47-48 was completed in class.
English
Bell Work: Students filled out planners for week.
In Class: Students handed in essays!! Gentlehands books and packets were handed out. Students were introduced to the novel with a powerpoint and we read chapter one aloud.
Assignment: Begin Gentlehands packet. Read AR books for 4th term points; book points are due in May.
The HISTORY Experience
In Class: Students should be able to Explain the purpose of the Missouri Compromise and List the 3 parts to the Missouri Compromise.
Assignment: Students completed History Frame of the Missouri Compromise
Science:
In class: We reviewed the three theories explaining the movement of the earth. We started the “Find It” map activity also.
Assignment: Pick up a map and orange sheet from the side counter. Get your key colors for the events and place them on the map. Your partner or Mrs. Hanson can help you.
