ALGEBRA
In class: Assignments were handed in today and students took the Ch 10 quiz.
Assignment: Read page 597-599 complete exercises 1-7 on page 600.
Pre-Algebra
In Class: Reviewed surface area formulas in preparation for the assessment.
Assignment: Finish making corrections in the packet and be ready to hand it in before the assessment over surface area.
English
Bell Work: Students checked rough drafts for a grade.
In Class: Students worked on writing revising and editing paragraphs for their five-paragraph essays. Typing requirements were given. We continued watching the Anne Frank DVD.
Assignment: 5-paragraph essays due April 26. Read AR books for 4th term points; book points are due in May.
The HISTORY Experience
In Class: Students should be able to: list some aspects of African American culture. Students worked on Quilt project.
Assignment: Quilt projects due tomorrow!!!
Science:
In class: We recorded assessment grades and completed Journal #46. Students watched a video on the parts of the Earth and colored in a worksheet on the individual layers. We will start characteristics tomorrow.
Assignment: Come in, watch the video, and color in the sheet.
