In Class: Reviewed the volume of prisms and cylinders.
Assignment: Page 461-462 1-6,9-15.
English
Bell Work: None.
In Class: Students took a quiz over chapter 1-4 and discussed their packets. We began reading chapter 5.
Assignment: Read chapters 5-7 for Monday and prepare for quiz. Read AR books for 4th term points; book points are due in May.
The HISTORY Experience
In Class: Students should be able to: Explain the Kansas-Nebraska Act. (2 parts of the Act and the effects)
Assignment: Students completed History Frame of the Kansas-Nebraska Act.
Science:
In class: Find It Maps were worked on today. We finished as many locations as we could and started naming the plates and color-coding..
Assignment: Get the names of the plates from your partner or Mrs. Hanson. We will show you to color-code.
Journal: No entry – Map work.
