ALGEBRA
In class: Students handed in the take home test and assignment packet. Introduced polynomials and found the sums and differences.
Assignment: Page 580, 19-61 every third problem, 63-66.
Pre-Algebra
In Class: Went over yesterday’s assignment together and reviewed the surface area of a of 3-D shapes. Introduced the surface area of a square pyramid. Reviewed the formulas for surface area on the yellow sheet and started the assignment in class.
Assignment: Complete page 455, exercises 1-9,16.
English
Bell Work: None.
In Class: Students took the NE-SAR test today.
Assignment: NE-SAR test on Monday and Tuesday. Read AR books for 4th term points; book points are due in May.
The HISTORY Experience
In Class: Did “Graffiti Boards” comparing and contrasting the North and the South.
Assignment: Ch. 19 Study Guide due tomorrow. Chapter 19 Test tomorrow.
Science:
In class: A review was done on the types of weathering and their forces. We took notes on the soil profile and colored a picture of the layers.
Assignment: Have your questions ready for our speaker. Finish coloring your soil profile picture. You will need to come in for the notes.
