ALGEBRA
In class: Practiced factoring and solving quadratic equations.
Assignment: Factor quadratic equations, complete worksheet B-39.
Pre-Algebra
In Class: Reviewed the volume of prisms and cylinders and wrote the formulas on the yellow sheet.
Assignment: Period 4 received Worksheet 9-7 to be completed for Thursday.
English
Bell Work: Students discussed GH packets.
In Class: Students continued to read Gentlehands, chapters 2-3. Read chapter 4 for Wednesday.
Assignment: Begin Gentlehands packet and read chapter 4. Read AR books for 4th term points; book points are due in May.
The HISTORY Experience
In Class: Students should be able to: Explain the purpose of the Compromise of 1850 and List the 4 parts of the Compromise.
Assignment: Students completed History Frame of the Compromise of 1850
Science:
In class: Find It Maps were worked on today. Get an atlas and start placing the locations.
Assignment: Start working on your map. Your partner or Mrs. Hanson can help you.
Journal: No entry – We reviewed the map symbols and colors.
