ALGEBRA
In class: Students handed in the take home test and assignment packet. Introduced polynomials and found the sums and differences.
Assignment: Page 587, 19-35 odd.
Pre-Algebra
In Class: Went over yesterday’s assignment together and reviewed the surface area of square pyramid. Introduced the surface area of a cone. Recorded the surface area formula for a cone on the yellow sheet and started the assignment in class.
Assignment: Complete page 456, exercises 10-15,17-18, 20
English
Bell Work: Students filled out planners.
In Class: Students received review sheet for test. We organized our notes and began our review for test. Students started jigsaw presentations.
Assignment: Holocaust/Anne Frank test Friday. Read AR books for 4th term points; book points are due in May.
The HISTORY Experience
In Class: Turned in Chapter 19 Study Guide and took Chapter 19 Test.
Assignment: None.
Science:
In class: A guest speaker, Mr. Hanson, came and spoke to the class about soil erosion and conservation.
Assignment: Students need to make sure that their soil profile is colored for class.
Journal: No journal.
